“ Not a bad burger. Purposefully ordered a simple cheeseburger to see what the meat itself tastes like without all the fancy floof on it. I've driven past this place off-and-on for several years but never really gave it a second thought. Glad I finally stopped in instead of just driving by again. I'll be back with the family at some point. This is something out of our way and a bit of a drive but occasionally worth the drive in the end I think. Much like going to Lion's tap every four or five paydays since it's a bit out of the way too. Was a bit less expensive than I'd thought it might be for a tasty burger and some fries. ”
“ Have been wanting to give this place a try for a while after seeing a story about them on the local news many moons ago. Was in the mood for a burger so suggested a little drive down to King's. First off to note, the menu is overwhelming. I can guarantee if there is a combo of ingredients you want, they can make it happen. All of the different burgers have baseball name references, a tip of the cap to the Mudhens, which play across the street. I had a burger with marinara sauce, onions, and peppers, kind of like a hot dago. I would have liked a little more sauce, but it was still yummy. The potato salad was also great. Will definitely be back again! ”
“ Amazing burger! They made 1/2 pound patties for us since we didn't get fries or buns. ”
“ Friend A: I had the squeeze play: "The combination of an egg, bacon, PB and Spicy Mayo, with even some lettuce to make me feel healthy, was killer. Fantastic flavor profile and really nice bite. I would have preferred more peanut butter to shine through and for the burger to be cooked a bit less but overall great. 7.7/10" Friend B: Aces burger w/ gluten free bun. Overall burger 4/5 stars, good spice (loved the olives). Gf bun 1.5/5 stars and better off not ordering with gf bun just go no bun. I had the Knight's Burger, which included bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions, American cheese, lettuce, and mayo, served with fries. I thought the burger had the proper amount of each topping, allowing the flavors to blend perfectly without any one being overpowering. We went on a Sunday late afternoon, and the place was bustling with people. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait, and it was spot on. We were seated and taken care of very respectfully, with staff always asking if we needed anything despite the packed house. The food came out relatively fast, and we were all impressed with our orders. We will definitely be making a return in the future! ”
“ King's Place is a burger joint that boasts over 100 unique burger combinations. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Interestingly, the ingredients tend to be on the milder side, allowing the patty to shine through. This means you can experiment with their extensive selection of sauces without overpowering the flavor of the burger. The smokehouse burger jerk seasoning was not as spicy than anticipated but it was still a tasty hamburger! ”
“ Total surprise. Out in the rural area, checked my trusty Yelp App. Found this gem! Busy! Sunday at 2:00. Hug parking lot! Full! Large tables for groups Great menu. Mostly burgers; like 40 of more choices. I had the KING!! Excellent. Average size but outstanding flavor. Incredible prices. Super shakes. ”
“ Took my girl to Miesville Friday night to a place I've been a few times, this was her maiden voyage. The menu has over 100 different ways to have a burger, she had something with a fried egg on it and said it was phenomenal. I had the "stats" burger which had pulled pork and bacon on there. It's a dive bar you would miss if you weren't looking for it but inside it is clean, has several televisions and decor hanging on the wall. Staff was friendly but our servers shift must have ended before we left, so I hope she still got some of the tip we left. No complaints from me, and we will be back. ”
“ We barely beat the lunch rush on a January Saturday--this place is popular! The atmosphere is cozy with lots of wood paneling, TVs quietly tuned to sports, and bar tap handles decorating the low walls. Do be aware, this is not a health food restaurant. This is a place where most everything can or will be deep fried and served with ranch on the side--and it'll be delicious. Service was fantastic throughout our visit. The guy understood that the menu is HUGE and we'd need some time to decide! For our appetizers, we ordered cheese curds and smoked gouda macaroni balls. Both were excellent, piping hot, and cheesy in distinct ways. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich; the chicken breast was perfectly cooked, flavorful and moist, and the bread and seasonings were great. Basic ridged potato chips came alongside. My son ordered a regular grilled cheese and the upgraded seasoned fries; I snagged a fry, which was done in a criss-cut style, and though it was especially tasty. He ate his entire meal, which doesn't often happen. My husband ordered a spicy hamburger and the seasoned fries as well, and really enjoyed his meal. Our check came out promptly and we were quickly taken care of, which was much appreciated. I'd definitely come here again with my family, and this would be a wonderful place to bring company for some good Minnesota cookin'. ”
“ I don't get to frequent Kings Place, but every time I'm in the area I make a point to stop in for one of their many amazing burgers! They have around 100 different burgers to choose from! Some of them are quite odd, and of course they have the classics. Shown in this picture is the Perfect game (I think) with ham and hash brown, it was good but not as good as others I have had in the past. Not every burger can be a winner, but you can be sure to find one to your liking. Waffle fries with sour cream. This place is often packed with a line out the door, but they have been expanding to accommodate demand. Service has always been adequate and friendly, no complaints there. We sat next to the fireplace in the back room and it was a nice lunch. Be mindful to avoid the after church rush! ”
“ Ambiance is super cool, cabin themed in the area we were sitting in. Service was good, the guy busing seemed miserable. He didn't even smile or say hi when taking our plates! For food we got the frickles, Jalapeño poppers and I got the pop fly burger. The appetizers were delish! Homemade ranch always has my heart. The burger was disappointing. It had bbq sauce, pulled pork, cheese and bacon. The pulled pork seemed to taste reheated, which was a bummer. I also asked for crispy onion and didn't get them on it. (Same with someone else in our party) I'll definitely be back, but will try something different. ”
